Manchester Advice Wins Prestigious Northwest Award

At the Big Chip Awards ceremony, on 24 May, Manchester Advice won the Best Public Sector Project category for the Advicekit Project. This high profile award recognises contributions to digital service development across the region.
Manchester Advice has been the lead agency on this very innovative project and has worked in partnership with a number of agencies in order to use Internet technology to extend and improve service provision for Manchester residents.
Thanks are due to a range of advice and other agencies that have worked with us to develop these new services and to our funders: the Legal Services Commission and the Manchester Digital Development Agency. Also to TT360, who developed the web site using the WebKinetic CMS, which provides an essential gateway to the package of services provided under the Advicekit banner.
Advice and support is available online for such problems as housing, benefits, debts, employment, immigration, consumer and more. The Advicekit web site provides information on rights and options and also access to help from specialist advice staff, either by e mail, or in live online advice sessions.
