W-Factor: The winners!
Ashton and Hannah have the W-Factor!
They beat off strong competition from 8 other very talented Wythenshawe acts, in the Live Final at Wythenshawe Forum on Saturday 17th September in front on a 500-strong crowd.
Their prize is a day in a professional recording studio.
The 10 finalists each performed, and the 3-person judging panel gave their opinion. Then the crowd used a high-tech electronic system to vote for their favourite 4.
These 4 sung another song and the 3 judges decided that Ashton and Hannah had the W-Factor. Christine Brennan, Wythenshawe FM Station Manager, was the judges spokesperson. She said "It was an incredibly hard decision. In the end we went for orginality." Ashton and Hannah are an MC and singing duo, and write their own tracks.
The other under-18 act in the final 4 were Kelly and Rosie. The over-18s were Chris Grixti and Laura Hennis.
The W-Factor see another highly successful competition involving the local community and the Wythit.com web site. TT360 have been an integral part in delivering the Wythit.com web site and the range of interactive and rich media services that have contributed to its success.
