Working with Manchester Advice part of Manchester City Council, TT360 have delivered a compelling information portal that offers round the clock access to a huge range of invaluable information and advice.
The new service has been set up by Manchester City Council’s advice service along with the Citizens Advice Bureau and Manchester MIND.
It will offer advice in a whole range of areas including legal problems, debt, benefits, employment, immigration and consumer issues and will complement the Manchester Advice helpline service.
The new service means that people can now e-mail or speak to an adviser live online without having to leave their home. Or they can use a number of access points across the city including Gorton Gateway, Benchill Community Centre and Newton Heath Library.
Manchester residents will be able to look up their rights or seek advice at any time of the day or night. They can get quick and easy access to information on national sites as well local information. Visitors to the web site can speak live and confidentially to an adviser and get ongoing support to help with their problems. There will also be open events highlighting new developments or current issues. People can log on to get information, express their views or ask for further advice.
Councillor Basil Curley Said: “This is a leading example of developing provision to meet the needs of today’s customers. The web site will supplement existing services by providing greater access for people unable to make contact during normal working hours – the elderly, carers, people with disabilities and working people, for example.”
TT360 were chosen for their well renowned skills in delivering Accessible content driven web sites to the public sector and sees yet another implementation of the much acclaimed WebKinetic CMS.
"We were extremely happy to be given the opportunity to develop this web site as it ties in well with our ethical beliefs in giving back to the community. It also helps us to demonstrate the power of our in-house CMS and its capability to delivery large projects that are both e-Government compliant and fully Accessible.", John Torrisi TT360
