High Peak Council Go Live with Accessible Web site

The 5th May saw High Peak Borough Council launch their new web site www.highpeak.gov.uk re-designed for Accessibility by TT360.
The new web site continues the achievements already made by the council in delivering online services by increasing the range of information available to local residents as well as improving how it is accessed.
By implementing the highest level of web site Accessibility guidelines it now means that information is quick and easy to find and available to all users regardless of disability.
Councillor David Lomax, Leader of High Peak Borough Council said: "This is great news for local residents who will be able to take advantage of our new and improved online services. We have worked hard to make our web site more readable and to expand the amount of information available.”
The High Peak Council chose TT360 for their knowledge of WAI Accessibility requirements and their ability to deliver table-less designs thus helping to achieve AAA status.
TT360 were very pleased to work with the High Peak Council who already had a good understanding of the web and the issues facing the public sector when delivering online services.
