TT360 are proud to annouce the release of e-land.org, a new and exciting web portal commissioned by the Learning and Skills Council Northumberland to promote and widen the participation of e-learning across the County.
Through an extensive consulation process with an numnber of key project stakeholders and together with the project managers Enterprise PLC, TT360 produced a flexible and scalable portal solution that provides both a springboard for the project delivery and an invaluable tool for the monitoring of the project’s overall success.
The project aims to bring together people, places and suppliers of e-learning material with the portal acting a central point of reference. The portal also offers a wide range of information as well as some extremely useful features that go hand in hand with the efforts of the project including:
The portal is another successful implementation of TT360’s much acclaimed web content management system WebKinetic, which has seen a significant rise in its client base over the past year.WebKinetic was a natural choice for the project as its versaility was ideal for the complexity and degree of customisation requred.
WebKinetic is also a winner when it comes to Accessibility and e-Government complience.
Offering an impressive list of accessibility enhancements, WebKinetic can natively support table-less design, access keys, relative font size adjustments, alternative text etc. to name just a few. In fact, with little effort WebKinetic can help you strive to meet (Web Accessibility Inititives) WAI-AAA complience.
WebKinetic also supports the e-Government Interoporability Framework (e-GIF) and Metadata Standards (e-GMS) and natively supports XML and Metadata tagging including support for Dublic Core.
