This week saw the latest release from a suite of online gambling games aimed at viewers of the popular reality television show Big Brother. As the technology partner for Million-2-1 Limited who have successfully negotiated brand positioning on the Channel 4 web site, TT360 have developed a range of fun interactive games that utilises SMS based reverse billing using mobile phones. This unique concept of reverse bill text messaging allows players to credit their online game accounts without the need for credit cards and therefore tackles the fear of fraud that is often associated with online transactions.
The two main games being promoted are Chicken and Web Bet which rely on some of popular themes from the television program. Chicken which is a spin on common high low games invites players to predict whether a clucking chicken will drop a number between 1 and 49 and Web Bet which lets players make predictions on the outcomes of the various tasks and challenges that take place in the Big Brother household. Players that correctly predict on Chicken win points that can be later exchanged for prizes from the Million21 web site or as in the case of Web Bet, where players can win the weekly prize.
The game playing architecture has been developed using the latest Microsoft .NET development platform and is part of a clever multi-tiered Gaming Application System that allows for the rapid deployment of Flash, SMS and Web based multiplayer games.
TT360 have been developing web enabled solutions using Microsoft.NET for well over a year and was one of the first development companies within the UK to take advantage of this new and exciting technology. As an emerging company within Manchester, TT360 have already won a number of high profile contracts and have recently been chosen by Technet North West, part of Manchester City Council to develop their online business portal.
